At the Chocolate Shop you can order online or by phone. As this is a shop open to the public, we cannot always answer the telephone especially at busy times. The full prices and conditions are shown to you in a virtual shopping cart - so no surprises afterwards. The prices shown include taxes (VAT) at all times. Unless stated otherwise, we also include duties for all shipments outside the European Union.
Companies that order from the Chocolate Shop will receive an invoice when they request so during the ordering process. The order confirmation contains all information necessary to use it as an expense ticket.
You will be given ample possibilities to communicate the delivery date, messages, special instructions and more during the order process. We encourage you to let us know as much as possible because we really want to customize your order and give it all the special attention it needs.
It is also possible to send gifts to multiple delivery destinations. For very large orders, we are happy to enter all the necessary information into our system for you.

We will track the package for you and we will not hesitate to contact you if we experience a problem.To view the status of your order please use the facility at the top of this page. You will need the email address you used when ordering and your order number.
CANCELLATIONS
The Chocolate Shop allows cancellations at no charge prior to shipment, unless we have specially ordered and created a product for you. As these are perisable products, once the goods have been shipped from the premises we will not accept returns.
DELIVERY POLICY
Holiday Orders
Holidays are busy times at The Chocolate Shop, so it pays to place your order early. Orders will be handled on a first come, first serve basis until our delivery schedules are full. We will inform you promptly if we cannot meet your delivery requirements.
Non-Holiday Orders
Local Orders
When placing your order, you can identify the exact delivery date. Same-day deliveries are accepted, but we request a phone order for these deliveries. They will also involve extra delivery expenses sometimes up to £3/mile, and can only be undertaken within a 15 mile radius of our shop. We delivery locally on Saturdays. No Sunday deliveries are available.
Standard Shipping.
If your order is not urgent you can use the Standard Shipping option at the check out process. Orders made on Friday after 14:30 GMT to Saturday 10:30 GMT will be shipped Saturday. Orders after 10:30 GMT Saturday or Sunday will be shipped Monday. As we use the Post Office and Parcel Force for these deliveries we are unable to specify an exact delivery date with this option. Orders can take up to 5 days for UK delivery and 12 weeks for International delivery.
Small items such as jelly bean packets which will not damage if posted through your letter box, will be sent ordinary 1st Class Royal Mail. Items which will damage or not go through the letter box will be sent Recorded and your should ensure that someone will be available to sign for your package
Express Shipping.
If you require your shipment to reach you the following day please select Express Shipping at the check out process. Orders made on Friday after 14:30 GMT and Saturday before 10:30 GMT will be delivered Monday. Orders made on Saturday after 10:30 GMT, or Sunday will be shipped Monday for Tuesday delivery
No Sunday deliveries are available.
Saturday Delivery UK
In England (excluding Channel Isles and some Highland and Isles areas)The Chocolate Shop delivers on Saturday. As we use the Post Office and Parcel Force for our shipments,there is an extra charge of £2 for shipments up to 2kilos in weight, and £12 over that weight. Local deliveries will be made by courier and are based on mileage

RETURNS

Returns are not accepted in respect to contracts for the supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or goods that deteriorate rapidly. Non-fresh products may be returned within 7 days after delivery. Pack and seal your return securely (in the original package if possible). Packages must be returned freight prepaid; we cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries. We will refund you via the Credit Card Company.
